"Winner, winner chicken dinner... nah, feels more like winner winner, getting over eating chicken for dinner! Still in disbelief that I actually won, especially seeing how well everybody else did in the challenge. I lost a total of 9.8kgs in the end & dropped my body fat percentage by 8.8% (25.2% down to 16.4%). I'm extremely proud of my efforts & how far I have come in just 6 weeks. After such a rough start to my year & a rather drastic change to my lifestyle, I'm glad that I'm finishing the year on a high! I have conquered & overcome so much this year & I'm happy with the person I have become. What doesn't kill you, certainly makes you stronger in this case. I also want to say a few thank you's to some wonderful people that made it possible for me to achieve my results: Firstly, a big thank you to both Sam & Diana for all of your efforts in not only organising this challenge but for all the hard work that goes into providing such a fun, encouraging & positive environment at the gym. Seeing how hard you all worked made staying committed so much easier. It has been amazing getting to know so many new faces & some old faces a bit more!
